Tomorrow afternoon is our Grade 3 First Nations Presentation. The majority of the presentation will take place outside in our naturalization area so please come prepared.
Please have your child complete some work on their Social Studies inquiry project tonight or tomorrow. The more the students can complete at home, the more likely they will finish the inquiry. Students will be given approximately an hour each day to work on their inquiry. I am asking that all data collection be complete by Friday, June 7th.
Please let me know if you can volunteer for the next two field studies.

Change of Date
Please be advised that the Kananaskis Field Study scheduled for Thursday, June 13th has now been rescheduled to Wednesday, June 12th. I realize that this may impact our volunteers so please let me know if you can still volunteer for this wonderful, out of city, opportunity.

*that members of our class won Silver and Bronze at the Science Olympics this past weekend
*the challenges for the Science Olympic team were Eggstranaut, Rescue Vessel, Tallest Tower, and Asteroids

Thank you to the volunteers who joined us today at the Leighton Art Centre. It was an amazing day out in nature and the weather was fantastic.

Mental health brings conversation around appropriate coping strategies. Students had numerous conversations around which strategies work best for them and in a given situation. Students created a fortune teller of personalized coping strategies. Please ask your students about their fortune teller and their strategies.
